I am many times told "Marvin, you take AMAZING photos", my response; "I just take photos of AMAZING people". I am a photographer not by just profession but by passion. Every photo I take is not just a click of the shutter but a moment frozen, a memory preserved for a lifetime. All photographs are there to remind us of what we forget.  In this - as in other ways - they are the opposite of paintings.  Paintings record what the painter remembers.  Because each one of us forgets different things, a photo more than a painting may change its meaning according to who is looking at it. So now we know pictures are perfect, it is what we fail to see and appreciate that is the true beauty of the art.  As we breathe, the images of our lives are continually vanishing right before our eyes and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again. Though many individuals have photographic memory, not everyone has film.
